Bio

Chef Emma has been fascinated by all things pastry since the age of three, whether it was begging her mother to help make cookies or making batch after batch of Turkish delight with her grandmother. She began experimenting with her own recipes not soon after, and continued doing so well into high school. She was well on her way to a political science undergraduate degree before realizing that baking was a viable career path, and within five weeks of deciding she wanted to attend culinary school, she was enrolled in the Patisserie and Baking program at Le Cordon Bleu Minneapolis. Chef Emma graduated with highest honors in 2006, and since then has worked in some of the best restaurants in Cleveland and received awards for her work from places as diverse as Cleveland and Scene Magazines, The Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio, and The Art Therapy Institute. Her current position allows her to produce everything from breakfast pastries to wedding cakes, and in her free time she enjoys reading, knitting, and experimenting with new dog treat recipes for her dog Max.
