Bio

Chef David Busch obtained his A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts in 2005 from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute.  After graduation Chef David took his first job at Giovanni’s Ristorante in Beachwood, OH where he gained his knowledge of Fine Dining Italian Cuisine. From there he went to the Lure Bistro, where he was quickly promoted to Sous Chef and honed his skills in classic French Cuisine. There Chef David also learned the art of Sushi and became the Sushi Chef where he was voted best sushi in Northeast Ohio 3 years in a row.  He decided to follow his love for seafood and moved to St. Pete Beach, Florida where he took a Sous Chef position at the Maritana Grille in the Famous Don Cesar Hotel. Chef David spent 4 years at the hotel where he learned the ins and outs of the hotel industry. Chef David came back home to Cleveland to start a family and took the Executive Chef position back at Lure bistro where he brought his Florida seafood influence. After a few years, Chef David wanted to take the next step in his career and teach others his love of classic European cuisine and fresh seafood. Chef David is now the Chef de Cuisine at Sapore Restaurant where he combines his knowledge of Classic Italian Cuisine and seafood together, and he brings that experience and knowledge to the professional classroom.
